To become more inclusive to all parents and students please take this survey at the bottom of the page to help us with ideas and helpful suggestions.

Language Barrier

I believe that one of the most leading ways to become more inclusive is through language. Having a large demographic of people who speak in one or more languages.
One way to remove the language barrier is by having material be translated, staff that are bi-lingual and interpreters be available to assist.
As well as having visuals like translated instructions, worksheets to have all families be able to help and be a part of the workshop.

Cultural Response

Using real-life examples to reflect and value the diverse backgrounds of families. The Activities are to be designed around real-life situations that can connect to students cultural experience. Families are encouraged to share how they use math in their daily lives, with cooking traditions, family budgeting and career options.
